"To Kill a Mockingbird" addresses issue of race

Fall play brings out the best in LC student actors
Based on the novel by Harper Lee, Lakeland theatre performed "To Kill A Mockingbird" from Thursday, Oct. 29 to Sunday, Nov. 1 in the Bradley Fine Arts building. Though there were a few minor improvements that could have been made, overall the play was a big success.

On Oct. 30, when it was too early to see snow, the Bradley Building's lobby became snow-covered landscapes. John Hubbard, a professional artist and professor of art at Northern Michigan University - Marquette, held an art exhibition to let Lakeland enjoy his new paintings.
