Elementary students learn about Asia

On Oct. 22, some international students from Global Student Association (GSA), an organization that was set up to help Lakeland students learn about other countries, gave presentations about their home countries to the kindergarten and first grade classes at Zielanis Elementary School in Kiel.

Have you ever heard of or been to a wine tasting? What about a beer tasting? If not, you missed out on the Zeta Chi Fraternity's second annual Micro-Brew beer tasting on Saturday, Nov. 7.
The theme of the tasting was elegant, with the lights dimmed low and some jazzy tunes playing in the room.
LC Music Department puts on an outstanding fall concert

The annual Fall Concert turned out to be a smashing success as many people left reminiscing about the songs and sounds they just heard.
Lakeland College's Music Department presented the Fall Concert in the Bradley Theatre on Sunday, Nov. 8 at 3:00 p.m. The concert consisted of Frauenchor, the Concert Choir, the Schilcutt Handbell Ensemble, and the Concert Band playing several pieces themselves.
