The Lakeland men's basketball team led twice in the second half, but still wound up on the wrong side of an 80-74 score line against Northern Athletics Conference North Division rival Rockford on Thursday, Jan. 21 at the Moose and Dona Woltzen Gymnasium.
The loss was the first at home in conference play for Lakeland, who allowed the visiting Regents a 49.
Lakeland wins three straight as Blahnik surpasses the 1,000 point mark

Senior forward KC Blahnik became the eighth player in Lakeland women's basketball history to score 1,000 points in a career on Saturday, Jan. 23 during the Muskie's 53-46 win over MSOE at the Moose and Dona Woltzen Gymnasium.
Blahnik commented on the feat, one she was unable to reach in high school.
