The third part in its series, "Final Destination 3", directed by James Wong, delivers what fans of the move expected. Those who were fans of the fun and thrill of a roller coaster will think again after watching this movie.

Yearbook photographer Wendy (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) spends the evening at the carnival held by her McKinley High School. As they all decide to ride the roller coaster, she already starts having a bad feeling. Right before the ride is about to start, a vivid premonition of a coaster chaos hits her. Freaked out by it, she gets off with others to follow along.

Just like in her premonition, the others who remained, including Wendy's boyfriend, suffer the awful accident and die. But death can't be cheated, or can it?

As in the previous movies, people who survived started to die in the order they sat. Since Wendy and her friend Kevin (Ryan Merriman) sat in the back, they try to save the others with vague clues provided from the pictures Wendy took that night.

Compared to the previous two movies, this one takes all the credit. The death scenes were more visual than before and the plot kept steady with some humor included. The main part that I enjoyed was how death's way was outlined. Every little detail was shown as the tools moved into position to kill the next person on the list.

A feature that bothered me was the prediction of how the person will die. Although in the pervious movies the characters could tell by little hints, this movie made it too obvious. The pictures provided too much detail, and although sometimes it was not as predictable, most of the time it also killed the suspense.

Altogether, I would not look at a roller coaster the same way as I did before. The movie was a good movie, and the ending left a twist that has not been seen in the previous movies.
