Harrison Ford stars in "Firewall", a modern day kidnapping. When I say modern day, I mean hacking into a bank and transporting electronic money to the kidnapper.

Ford plays Jack Stanfield who is a computer security specialist for a successful bank. You see him perform some day-to-day operations like preventing a hacker from getting into the system.

The plot thickens when he finds out someone used his credit card and charged a large sum to his account. When he comes home after work, he finds that his family is under house arrest.

Stanfield finds out that he must hack into his own system and steal money for the kidnappers.

The movie was slow to start. I kept waiting for more action in the beginning, but it didn't come until I was already a little bored.

Once Stanfield figured out an ingenious way to hack the system, the movie started getting intense and interesting. I was back into it at that point.

The movie hit a great fast pace once Stanfield took over and killed one of the lower kidnappers. At that point, Firewall turned into the typical Harrison Ford movie, which is defined by Ford's character taking full control of the situation and winning by any means necessary. This part was the last half hour of the movie.

I enjoyed the movie because it brought an interesting twist on how technology can be used today. I enjoyed most of the movie, but this one is only good enough to rent.
