This issue's MVP, Sara Roberts, muscles the ball toward the plate against Wisconsin Lutheran in the first game of the double-header on April 10. The freshmen shut out the visiting Warriors 10-0, to extend their winning streak to nine games.

Sarah Roberts has been immaculate on the hill for the Muskies as of late. As of April 9, the freshman has recorded a 7-3 record with an amazing 1.64 earned run average. Her opposing batting average .203 is a testament to her ability of creating outs behind her and her 37 strikeouts this year shows that she can get outs herself.

The young ace also has recorded two no-hitters in the past two weeks. One of these was a perfect game, the pinnacle game achievement for pitchers. Her pitching was the fuel for an amazing nine game winning streak the Muskies just recently ended. These accomplishments merited her the NAC student-athlete of the week on April 4.
