Micro-Brews!!!
Zeta's 2nd beer tasting
Nick Nelson
Issue date: 10/29/09 Section: News
The Zeta Chi fraternity will host its second annual Micro-Brew beer tasting in the David and Valarie Black room in the Laun Center on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. There will be two to four different brewed beer representatives giving out samples, and snack food will be available.
This event is open to all students, staff, faculty, and community members who are at least 21 years old. Tickets can be purchased at the door for ten dollars or purchased in advance by talking to any Zeta Chi member.
The money raised at this event will be donated to Camp Anokijig, a summer camp located in Plymouth. This camp encourages growth and teaches life skills to children while they interact with others through learning activities.
Rather than throwing a party in their suite or in the Pub, the Zetas decided to do something a little "classier," as Zeta Chi member Markus Savaglio says. Since the beer tasting was a big hit last year, the Zetas wanted to do it again.
Anyone with questions can contact Markus Savaglio (savagliom@lakeland.edu or at 920-207-4910) or any other Zeta Chi member.
