Prevent the winter blues with ten exciting destinations for your break

Though it's a month and a half-and many tests and exams-away, it's not too early to look ahead to Christmas break. Even though we only have three weeks of break instead of four like we usually do, it doesn't mean you can't have a fun filled holiday season. With the economic downslide in the past few months, major airlines know that everyone is struggling, so they have cut back on tickets and other expenses to make it easier and cheaper to travel this holiday season. So, as your favorite Rockstar, I have researched and found good prices for ten fun and exciting travel destinations for your holiday season.
1. My number one destination is Florida. Yes, I realize it's a state and it's nowhere in particular, but it's sunny and warm there. If you're a polar bear, penguin, or if you just really like the snow and the cold, then I'd suggest you stay here in chilly Wisconsin, but Florida is the ideal winter blues getaway. Though there are tons of elderly people playing chess all day, everyday, being in sunlight is a proven way to reduce SAD (seasonal affective disorder.) With the lack of sunlight we get here in Wisconsin during the winter months, SAD affects everyone-especially students and teachers with their elevated stress level. So for "health reasons," anywhere in Florida is my number one.
2."What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas," is not necessarily true because you're bound to tell someone, even if you promised yourself you'd never tell a soul. It's human nature to tell someone a crazy thing you did. Yes, Las Vegas, Nevada is my number two top destination this holiday season. Though you can be any age to go to Vegas, it pays off if you're 21 or older because it's filled with casinos and such for which you must be 21 or older because of the alcohol served. But casinos aren't the only reason to go to Vegas. If you're willing to dish out money, Celine Dion, O - Cirque du Soleil, or the Blue Man Group are some great shows to see. Or maybe you're at a stage in life where you and your partner want to get married. Nothing like having Elvis as your witness.
